I have been working with my Roxio Easy Burning for about two months now, and I have not had a chance to try Creator Classic, which from what I can see deals with data disks unless I am mistaken. (I then found that the movie file I imported used AC3 audio, and so MyDVD Express was not the appropriate program to use). It created a Video TS folder where I directed it to on my desktop, so I wasn't aware it would also create a plasma folder in Libraries/Videos. At that time, I checked create folder because I wanted to see what it was. I did the import from the drive, and then I went to use MyDVD Express to create and burn a disc. This goes to my other post where I was trying to make a copy of a store made video dvd that strangely wasn't being read by Easy Burner modules except for Import. I am curious how you created a usable DVD Movie from there since Creator Classic will not… It is created along with the VIDEO_TS folder: Keep in mind that no update has been written since 2004 and it is unlikely any will be written for V6.The ONLY way that Folder is created is if you use "Create folder set" when you burn: The other it to have a cheap product to address those in the market for a simple low end software. It has 1GB RAM & 80GB hard drive with 42GB still free. So, I had a new DVD burner installed in my Dell Dimension 4700 desktop running Windows XP. I bought & installed the software, BUT, what I thought was a DVD burner was only DVD-R & CD/RW. One is address the dwindling Win9x/NT systems still out there. Hi, I thought I knew something about computers, but read on. I think they are putting it out there for two reasons. I have seen this box in retail stores and while Roxio doesn't mention it on the site, it is a supported Retail product. Yes, it is as it states, ECDC 6 Platinum. If it is v6 Platinum, you should be able to register it under that product shouldn't you?Ĭomplaints about installing the program and the program losing data, ect.Ĭan anyone tell me if this product really is ECD & DVD Creator 6 Platinum? If so when did Roxio start boxing it as Easy CD & DVD Burning? I'm asking because my computer came with an OEM version of ECD Creator (5.2.? upgraded to 5.3.5.10) installed and while I don't want or need the features of the Easy Media Creator products, I did want a version of ECD Creator with more features than the OEM version came with and v6Platinum was what I was looking for, but I figured it was long gone.ĭoes anyone have any info on this product? One post complained that since the product isn't even in the drop down registration list, that you can't register it or get support for it. It isn't on the site, but if it's v6 Platinum, you wouldn't expect it to be. One post complained that the product wasn't even on the Roxio site. So I came home and did a google serch for the product. This software was originally called Roxio Easy CD & DVD Creator "6".Įasy CD & DVD Creator 6 Platinum software including: IMPORTANT:Note to existing Roxio customers. On the back of the box there is note that says: On my old Roxio programme this was so easy to do just use to click away and complete task. But I can not for the life of me find the programme that allows me to put music disc in pick songs that I like approximately 20 and then burn them to CD. Has anyone heard of this Roxio Easy CD & DVD burning product? I just saw it at an Office Depot store. Hi all, I recently downloaded Roxio CD DVD burning 2.
